The day of reckoning is coming …

Commander Noa Sato has almost reached the Kannukah Cloud. Within hours her crew may be able to reach Sol System through a hidden time gate. If they make it, she and her crew won’t just save their own lives--they’ll save millions from genocide at the hands of Luddeccean fanatics.

But the Luddeccean "fanatics" may not be as mad as Noa believes.

If the Ark reaches Sol, Professor James Sinclair will be revealed as the imposter he is. Designed to be the perfect spy, James's love for Noa seems to be the only thing truly his own. But what can love be to an agent of the gates?

When the final confrontation occurs, and the truth of the gates is revealed, James and Noa will have choices to make ... Choices that may divide them forever and lead to the destruction of the human race.

I certainly enjoyed the author’s storyline. Thought that there was a little too much introspective by the main character throughout the series, but the story still moved along at a decent pace, probably due to the numerous action scenes. Overall, it's a good read and worth your investment.

Hope that the author will follow up with additional stories using these characters and universe that she has created. I agree with her assessment that Carl Sagan and 6T9 still have much to add, and their stories need to be told. In addition, the integration of human beings and Artificial Intelligence still need to be further explored. Her characters Noa and James seem to be the perfect conduit for that job. Maybe she can bring in a new dangerous alien force, which will help create greater unity between her current characters. I’m looking forward to their future.

Heretic Archangel Project Book Three eBook C Gockel Reviews

I mostly read free books, but this future world with it's different take on AI was so enjoyable that I purchased the series. The characters are well developed, even the side characters feel real. The future science is believable, even though I never heard of the concepts they are explained well and even have good things that can happen and bad things when things go wrong. Time bands are a wonderful thing!
After reading all three books in the Archangel Project I still want more! I like to think that someday we will all learn to get along with each other and then maybe we will be more accepting of "aliens" or other beings.
I enjoyed Noa and James personal struggles as individuals and in their relationship.
I can't wait to see what comes next!
I love this book and this series!  The characters are more real than some of the people I know (!) and the plot never became boring or obvious - in short, C. Gockel's writing is very good.  The underlying social implications for our own world are skillfully dealt with, and this author's ability to convey compelling mental images through words is delightful.  Finally, I'm sorry that there are no more books in the series... and I want a werfle!
I couldn't wait to get into this novel after the build up of the last two. I thoroughly enjoyed it and felt flat when I'd finished, as I'd become so invested in the characters. I read it really quickly. The ending didn't disappoint either, as so many others have. It was a good conclusion. Lots of hidden parallels with humanity's skewed moral compass. The portrayal of the alien race was great, much more believable than the whole ET thing which some writers are still going overboard on. I'd definitely buy from this author again.
I highly recommend this series of books!
The author does an excellent job of creating a believable Sci-FI universe with many of today's issues such as AI, electronic personal communication, racism and fundamentalism as a backdrop. I found the story line believable, compelling and entertaining. It was so good I would finish a book and buy the next one immediately. I will continue to read this authors works as I am very impressed. This review will be added to all 3 stories in this series.
I rarely buy second, much less third, books in a series. This one was so compelling I had no choice. The characters are robust and complex. The situation in which the characters find themselves is reminiscent of our current political situation. Two species which share many things can only focus on their differences. And those differences make them distrust and hate each other. I hope that the author will continue to show us how these two cultures develop and whether they ever come to appreciate each other. I can't wait to see where the author takes us.
Noa and James’ adventures continue and you are on the edge of your seat to see if they will make it away from the fanatic Luddecceans. Who is James and what are the gates? This story is all about revealing both of them.

What constitutes being a family? This story spends a lot of time looking at that issue especially toward the end. Noa is in love with James even though she knows what or who he is. But is James truly in love with Noa or is it the result of something else? You get to see a lot of what they are both thinking and you get an understanding of who they are and how they look at the world.

What I found so interesting about this story is that is shows how the moral compass can become so broken. It shows a future with all of its scientific advances that has just as much division as our current world. What drives this division is so tied up with religion and fear of technology.
